Claire started dancing at a young age in Canada, completing exams with the RAD and ADAPT. At Pearson United World College, she explored the diversity of world dance, experiencing everything from Bollywood to gumboot, Filipino tinikling to tango. After spending time living in Ghana, Claire moved to Edinburgh and pursued full time dance training at the Performing Arts Studio of Scotland (PASS) - where she got her formal training in contemporary dance. Claire’s style is a fusion of these various influences, featuring the strength, elegance and lines of her classical training, but informed by a range of world dance. Claire performed in a variety of productions in Scotland and Canada, including 'The Stirling Engine' /January 2014/ alongside VOX Edinburgh, Calvin Arsenia, Julie Chilvers and Christina Liddell and Edinburgh Fringe production 'Colours Theoretically' /2012/.
